\nI love, love, love writing book reviews. \u00a0The pleasure of diving deep into the language of the poems, riding the arc of the book as it progresses, discovering the strangeness and commonalities of another poet’s life and work and mind–it’s a grappling and a conversation, and a falling in love that I love. \u00a0A decadent wallow in words!
\nAnd I also get to share the wallow with others–like the good folks at Poet As Radio<\/a>, where I got to hang out with Jay Thomas <\/a>and Nick Leaskou<\/a>.

It was great listening to Marina Lazzara’s<\/a> and Nick Whittington’s<\/a> interview with the poet David Meltzer<\/a>, whose experience with the Beat Poetry scene in San Francisco is an absolute treasure.<\/div>\n
